Hello and welcome to our class

I am your professor - John Sicklick (He/Him). I will be joined this semester by a co-instructor, Vanessa Lopez(she/her). To provide additional support to the students, we also are joined by Embedded Tutor Bernaldo Dominguez.

We are pleased to (virtually) meet you and are looking forward to working with you this semester.

This introductory course will serve as a foundation in digital media analysis and data recovery in computer forensics. As we discuss the terminology and technology associated with computer forensics, we will also utilize a variety of tools and lab session to apply these skills. During the semster we will also explore how computer forensic techniques are used in criminal investigations and incident handling.
