Notify Students
- Select individual students to email; Use the buttons on the bottom of the screen to notify certain groups of students (All, Selected, and Enrolled).
- The students will receive an e-mail to the address they have added to the Viking Student System / Student Self Service.
- Automatically, the Blind Copy (BCC) field will be used. Why is this important?
- You cannot include attachments.
- Notify Enrolled Students filters out dropped and withdrawn students
- E-mail address pop-out screen; Cut and paste email addresses separated by semicolon (as needed by many e-mail services include Outlook).

At the bottom of the Class Roster, you will see a selection of buttons.

Choose the circular blue icon with the "i" inside it. This will display your students e-mail addresses.

NEW: the addresses are now separated by semicolons, which is the format you need for Outlook. Copy and paste the addresses into the BCC field in a new Outlook message.

You no longer have to worry about dropped students remaining on this list as the session progresses. However, you cannot include attachments.
